Other quick fixes when your tummy is upset:
- Make a warm compress with water and lay it on top of the belly.
- Rub peppermint essential oil topically on the upset area.
- Do the 30 second gut flush, by pulling your hands from the top of your abdomen to the bottom, 10 X each on the left, right and center.
- Take a capsule of activated charcoal. This will help with bloating and remove toxins. Only use this occasionally, not daily.

What are tinctures? Tinctures are herbal medicines made with whole herbs and vodka. Alcohol is the only substance that can pull the awesome medicinal properties out of the herb and into solution. I find this quite preferable to manufactured medication. A couple things to consider: When taking a few squirts of tincture you are taking in about the same amount of “alcohol” as there is a ripe banana. The making of alcohol is a natural phenomenon and in such small medicinal doses not harmful. Also some people will squirt their tincture into hot water to burn off the alcohol before they drink it.
