Depression is a growing concern. Many people are now on medications for depression and finding that the side effects are quite unfavorable; but they don’t know where else to turn. This tincture will help. St. John’s Wort had long been proven to assist with depression recovery. This powerful blend of herbs is very effective for depression. However, as with most issues, depression is a complex issue.
One thing to consider is the gut-brain connection. The gut has 100 million nerve cells lining your gastrointestinal tract from esophagus to rectum. 95% of your serotonin is made in the gut, and 50% of your dopamine! These are the “feel good hormones.” Researchers are finding that depression is quite often a gut issue!

What are tinctures? Tinctures are herbal medicines made with whole herbs and vodka. Alcohol is the only substance that can pull the awesome medicinal properties out of the herb and into solution. I find this quite preferable to manufactured medication. A couple things to consider: When taking a few squirts of tincture you are taking in about the same amount of “alcohol” as there is a ripe banana. The making of alcohol is a natural phenomenon and in such small medicinal doses not harmful. Also some people will squirt their tincture into hot water to burn off the alcohol before they drink it.
