Headaches are tricky. About 100 “things” could cause headaches. This tincture is great because it helps open vessels for greater blood flow to the brain and work on underlying inflammation. Some say that you can chew feverfew leaves everyday for constant migraines, and decrease use as your migraine situation improves. If the raw leaf bothers your mouth, you can even saute the leaves a bit before eating them. Or, just take this tincture! Since migraines could be caused by so many different factors in your life, it’s worth some detective work to see what sets them off.
Here are a few other things that may help:
- Deep breathing – Right when it starts
- Diet – Esp during “time of month”
- Sugar – Take a break
- Stress – Try some earthing (barefeet in the grass)
- Dehydration – Often 16 oz water will get you back on track
- Sunshine – How much are you getting? Sun on the skin can heal mitochondria, which in turn can heal the root cause of the headaches.
Caution: Avoid while pregnant, because feverfew can cause uterine contractions. It’s ok while nursing. If pregnant, consider using pain relief tincture instead. Brain vitality tincture is also excellent for resolving headaches.
Ingredients: All herbs are organic. Lobelia, Lemon Balm, Feverfew, Anise, Cayenne

What are tinctures? Tinctures are herbal medicines made with whole herbs and vodka. Alcohol is the only substance that can pull the awesome medicinal properties out of the herb and into solution. I find this quite preferable to manufactured medication. A couple things to consider: When taking a few squirts of tincture you are taking in about the same amount of “alcohol” as there is a ripe banana. The making of alcohol is a natural phenomenon and in such small medicinal doses not harmful. Also some people will squirt their tincture into hot water to burn off the alcohol before they drink it.
