Tincture – Eye Vitality

This tincture helps with all kinds of eye issues; from macular degeneration, to dimming sight due to “age,” to irritated eyes from looking at computer screens all day.  Its whole focus is eye health. As with any issue, it’s better to start with herbs as soon as you know there’s an issue.  While this tincture can help relieve immediate eye issues, it’s also aimed to help heal the root cause of all eye health with extended use, because it reduces oxidative stress and inflammation.  As you’ll see in the ingredient list, there has been a lot of research into eye health, and the benefits of these herbs.  This is a powerful combination with a lot of research behind it.

What are tinctures? Tinctures are herbal medicines made with whole herbs and vodka. Alcohol is the only substance that can pull the awesome medicinal properties out of the herb and into solution. I find this quite preferable to manufactured medication. A couple things to consider: When taking a few squirts of tincture you are taking in about the same amount of “alcohol” as there is a ripe banana. The making of alcohol is a natural phenomenon and in such small medicinal doses not harmful. Also some people will squirt their tincture into hot water to burn off the alcohol before they drink it.
