This combination of herbs provides both a sedative and antispasmodic. It’s designed to relax, relieve tension, calm anxiety, and to help you sleep. It’s safe to use with children when they find it hard to sleep at night.
Not sleeping is a tough way to live. Teaching your body to relax when it’s time can sometimes take time, but putting effort in by working on lifelong habits will help shift your sleep habits.
Sleep tips:
- Journal before bed. Take time to get all your thoughts out, so they don’t have to run through your head all night.
- Stop looking at cell phones/computer screens 1 hour before wanting to sleep. The light affects your brain’s ability to shut down.
- Find a bedtime routine you like and stick to it. Include things like: warm showers, mediation, soft music, journaling, candlelight, scripture study, prayer….all things to help you calm down.
- Melatonin has been helpful for some. It’s a natural substance. It’s actually produced naturally, and in greater quantities, when you’re exposed to infrared light (sunlight is half infrared light!). Pistachios and almonds are 2 nuts that are naturally high in melatonin.

What are tinctures? Tinctures are herbal medicines made with whole herbs and vodka. Alcohol is the only substance that can pull the awesome medicinal properties out of the herb and into solution. I find this quite preferable to manufactured medication. A couple things to consider: When taking a few squirts of tincture you are taking in about the same amount of “alcohol” as there is a ripe banana. The making of alcohol is a natural phenomenon and in such small medicinal doses not harmful. Also some people will squirt their tincture into hot water to burn off the alcohol before they drink it.
