This is designed to address constant, nagging coughs, so it’s a handy remedy to keep in your cupboard. Cough relief is a balancing formula that helps you  get over coughs faster, provides relief to your raw throat, and allows for better sleep.

Ingredients: All herbs are organic. Cherry Juice Concentrate, Vegetable Glycerine, Honey, Comfrey Root, Wild Cherry Bark, Elecampane Root, Peppermint Leaf, Horehound Herb, Chamomile, Plantain, Hyssop, Elder Flowers, Coltsfoot, Lobelia. In alcohol suspension.

What are tinctures? Tinctures are herbal medicines made with whole herbs and vodka. Alcohol is the only substance that can pull the awesome medicinal properties out of the herb and into solution. I find this quite preferable to manufactured medication. A couple things to consider: When taking a few squirts of tincture you are taking in about the same amount of “alcohol” as there is a ripe banana. The making of alcohol is a natural phenomenon and in such small medicinal doses not harmful. Also some people will squirt their tincture into hot water to burn off the alcohol before they drink it.
